The main focus point of the newspaper advertisement promoting the launch of the new channel, would be the image that is shown in it as 96% process an image in are head more opposed to text. That is why I have been very selective over who I have used in the photo for my newspaper advertisement and the reason that I selected Ben Hawker as a model for the ad, is due to his composition and attachment to traveling and achievement which he has done on DOFE expeditions.
Furthermore I chose ben as I carried out some audience research and the question I asked to 20 people are women or men which sex is more connected to the documentary category.
Arranging the text on the advertisment
I plan to be arranging the text on the website, the text I wanted it to stand out and be in collaboration to the rest of the tasks. The layout I plan to keep in consisting with other media advertisements in newspapers.
Existing adverts
With regards to the newspaper ad i want to create after vireing the newspaper adverts above i have decided to create a ad some what simple.Like the singpore airlines ad and ESPN by making it simple but informing people, it will attract the audciance. Like an advert is meant to do and that is what i want to make my newspaper ad to do to attarct my target audiance.
After looking at results that i colllected through asking 20 people i tried to make my newspaper advert go towards the right appeal by meeting what the audicance felt.
On my newspaper i have added a range of colours to attarct a deverse range of people and to meet the expectiations of what people expected through the research.
After looking at what people thought a seeing my own opintion on the idea, most companies attract a number
of people to their product through this form of media and i feel it is important to keep up to date with changing technolagies.
I was not shocked to see that one person was best suited to an advert, as the single person cans show off the desired product/promote it in an effective way and they can also have sex appeal asscoated with them attratcting more people to the product.
